According to Salient Stills Inc, Version 3.0 of VideoFOCUS Pro will be released in April of this year. And it will be one of their most significant releases yet.
They've added many of the things that you currently do in Photoshop or Premiere like filtering on images AND movies, audio support, simple cut-copy and paste editing of movies and movie titling. And they've added plenty of other things too.
AUDIO
======
They will be capturing audio, editing audio and exporting audio from video files.
INTERACTION
=============
New interactions on movies and stills allow you to drag and zoom in on the surface of these items. Much like one does with Google Maps. It is a great way to inspect a small area of an image. Also, there is now a simple way to pull images of interest from movies (simply drag them off) and a new organization scheme for images which makes them much more accessible.
AUDIT TRAILS
============
Interactive audit trails will be available for stills and movies. Click on any item and see a summary of its history. Then expand any action to see more detail. Very nice!

These will be in addition to their current super-resolution filter. Tracking will be available so you apply the filter to a region over time.
EDITING AND TITLING MOVIES

Edit movies using cut/copy/paste. Compose a new movie from different movies and/or still images. Then add titles. If you can use iMovie (from Apple) then you can use this.
